The Fool Postcards

"Inspired by elements of my personal immigration journey and feeling out of place during my coming of age years, especially since I moved around a lot.

I really wanted the figure to have a dynamic pose to reflect the spontaneity that this card represents and used Chinese fan dancing as an inspiration with regard to moving and flowing with the rhythm of a dynamic and often absurd world. The dog is Inspired by Jennifer E. Crawford’s loving Taiga, who has sadly passed. Taiga wears a sun pendant on her collar, to link her to Jennifer, who inspired The Sun in our deck."
