"Inspired by Jarius Khan. I wanted this card to be about changes and the many transformations people go through over time as they experiment with themselves and the world around them. I really loved the cocoon suggestion by Audra so I went with it! I knew before I started that this was going to be Jarius in the middle of emerging so as to capture the moment of the reveal. I included elements of Jarius's style both current and past. I drew his eye on the wings to represent different ways of seeing."
