"Inspired by Indigenous auntie / poet Deirdre Lee. I pictured Deirdre in the process of writing, and surrounded by her beading supplies and cat-panions Willis and Roxy. I really wanted to step away from the unapproachability and coldness of how this card is usually portrayed in tarot and create an atmosphere that is warm and cozy.


I think of the hierophant as a teacher, poet, artist and someone who is the caring backbone of a community and I wanted to convey that with this card."
